Yay for break!

So I'm home on fall break. I have a lot of homework to do, which I will get to as soon and I'm done blogging.

Nothing really really new... Had a band concert last week which went really well. We have another one the first week of November. Then it's getting ready for Christmas with Wartburg. We're getting filmed for IPTV this year at our Des Moines Civic center performance so that will be an extra hassle... Everyone has to put on TV make-up and stuff. We'll miss at least a whole day of school... And it always blizzards over the Des Moines performance anyway

I have a lot of homework to do over break... An article review, two tests and a personal evaluation for conducting, plus I need to read a couple chapters for music history, practice flute and piano and write program notes for my recital. I also want to work ahead and do another score analysis for my Music Methods 5th-12th Grade class.

I also just got back from the dentist. I got four small cavities filled on the left side of my mouth. I have to go back in tomorrow to get three small cavities filled the on the right side of my mouth. Currently, I can't feel the left side of my face from my chin, up past my left eye. It's really weird and kind of annoying.

I don't really have much else to say... :-P If anyone is home, or in the area, I want to go see Across Universe and Elizabeth: the Golden Age, and The Dark is Rising. Give me a ring if interested!
