Some political snark of my own...

As I weigh my student loan debt in one hand, and measure the potential success of my future with the other, I am of the opinion that a candidate's stance on being "pro-life" or "pro-choice" is NOT the only issue that is important to me in this election.

As I read your blog, I would just like to say that you made the choice to attend the college you did, knowing that it is/was expensive. You made the choice to work in the education field, knowing that pay in that field is low. These are choices you made. How is that someone else's fault?

I'm not saying it's someone else's fault. I chose my college, and I chose my major. I graduated in a year when there were NO JOBS. I'm not even working in the educational field any more. I've paid back over $20,000 in my student debt - sometimes working 3 jobs at once.

I do wish my past self had a better grasp of what college would cost. But I also remember that the difference between attending a private college and a state school was $4,000. I've crunched the numbers. Even if I had gone to a state school, I would be in the same amount of debt.

What I'm pointing out in this post is, that by voting ONLY because a candidate is "pro-life" is no different then voting for someone just because they want to make sure women get equal pay. There is more than just *one* issue that is important in this election and I think that simply voting on ONE stance would make me worse off than I am now.
